I really want to get these (just saw them on Gilt) but NO!! I MUST CONTAIN MYSELFFF!! I CAN’T AND MUST NOT SPEND FRIVOLOUSLY!! =( but they’re both so so hot, and so me…and very rarely do I see a red bag of my likes.. lolll *sigh* oh well. I have been spending more than I had intended.. so until next time. But I really really adore studs and chains…i swear they’ll never go out of style and even if they will, who gives a crap!? I’d still rock em.

I had just finished this really entertaining, cute, heart-warming documentary about a middle school in a small town/community located in Tennessee. The middle school had a huge project relating to the holocaust. Pretty simply put, these children who were raised as Protestants in a poor southern town are exposed to the harsh reality of the world and deal with it with tolerance and understanding. I was surprised to how sheltered they were but what fascinated me was that even though they’re sheltered from the rest of the world, they too know they’re part of the stereotype of  “southern dumb red necks”, which in my opinion is one of the important aspects to think about while watching this movie. I applaud their efforts, determination, and teamwork – and it definitely shows that when you put your heart and soul into something, it’ll be accomplished even if you’re poor.

I think while watching this movie, it’s important to look at how humanity interacts and having the holocaust as the main subject/core of motivation of the project is the irony of it.  I’d have to say it wasn’t that inspiring to me but i was definitely heart-felt. I wouldn’t say I’m an angel..I’m quite a hateful person actually.. but I do believe that people should treat others how they want to be treated …at least initially ..giving the other party the benefit of the doubt. Even thought this movie seems very simple and ya di da happy this and there…it actually portrays a lot of positive values and morals where it’s definitely good for young kids. And finally, I have changed some of my perspectives about people from the South … this is by far the first movie I’ve seen where it doesn’t depict Southern people as scary religious people who likes to brainwash people and young kids. ***1/2 stars

oh yeah, after this movie, I will never look at a paperclip the same way again. You’ll understand why if you’ll watch.

It is ironic that ever since I’ve started a job, making more money, I am spending less and less on myself? (wtf does my money go?!?!) But from that, it’s led me to frequent urges of wanting to cook, and make my own food – instead of ordering out all the time..or TRYING to go out to find food.. which I realize is a lot of effort after a long day of work.
I feel like I’m living the newbie college life…..COOKING like a college kid these days.. hahah mind you, I rarely cook.. although I have to admit, not being cocky or anything but when I do cook, (and put my heart in soul into it lolll) it is actually decent and edible.
Anyways, as a warning – I’m not trying to cook healthy or anything.. my purpose is to cook something that’s quick, cheap, and good – ideally for after a long day of work, before you vegetate to a movie kinda meal. This scrambler recipe totally was an accident (I had originally wanted to make fried rice) haha. Oh and I don’t really measure what I put in.. i just do it how i feel… so use your best judgement LOL

Ingredients:

1 of those cheap carrots/peas mix bags you get in the freezer section
1 of those half can spam (cut up small cubes..)
oil (I use this one) use as much as how you’d use to make normal eggs..
sesame oil (like a teaspoon..) (optional)
soy sauce (1 tablespoon)
stir fry sauce (I use this one) pour in enough to fill the pan…like a layer
4 eggs
1/2 tablespoon 0f Korean red hot pepper paste – the one you use to make kimchi fried rice or other korean stuff (optional)
garlic and pepper seasoning (just like a small pinch here and there) (optional)

What to do:

heat up your pan

as you heat up your pan, boil some water  on the side – put in the amount of carrots/peas you want to use

put the oil and stir fry sauce into your pan

wait a bit…like till you start hearing some sizzzles

put in your cubes of spam – mix it around .. wait for more sizzling.. (i personally like it when the spam gets a lil brown on the outside)

drain out your bits of veggies and put them in the pan … mix them around .. lower your heat

add in the korean pepper paste and soy sauce.. stir/mix

wait like 4 minutes? when you feel like its just about right..

put in your 4 eggs..

add the pinch of garlic/pepper seasoning

stir them around..mix them around…

stop the fire depending on how you want the eggs to be .. I personally don’t like my eggs dry

then… put some of that over hot white rice… top it with some siracha hot sauce and enjoy!!

I hope my explanations are simple and easy to follow. LOLL I mean.. this recipe is not rocket science.. it’s pretty much common sense .. just the ingredients are different from the usual…and personally… i see nothing wrong with spam once in awhile. haha

This is one of my recent favorites. Awhile back, a friend recommended me this book – but I had forgotten the title until I started sifting through netflix instant watch and saw this cover and though hmmm “sounds familiar..” After watching it, I want to read the book. (I’m usually like that, I tend to want to read the book after seeing the movie, and have determined that it is good). But basically this movie is definitly worth the watch because it’s a bit disturbing in a very subtle way. It has good suspense, and thrills along with a good plot that have you following even with subtitles! (note this is a foreign film) Because the names were Swedish names, I didn’t pay much attention to .. well the girls name is Lisbeth (easiest to remember) .. but the plot is a detective person getting into some sort of lawsuit, and lisbeth is hired to hack to get information about the detective person but then for the time being, another person hires the detective person to find one of his persons .. and through that scenario is when everything happens. Everything meaning the interesting stuff. Somehow the feel of this movie reminded me of the Da Vinci Code + Bourne lol .. just the feel. I really like this movie as for some parts are very hard to watch and would make you go “wtf??” but overall that’s what makes it good. Please watch when you have time! **** stars

Ever since I started full-time working + my freelance job, mentally I’m like the child in the picture above. But in terms of life goals.. I am working towards them and am definitely on the right track. I’m working hard and trying to make good money .. because for those who know me, money is my motivation. My creativity is fueled by money… the more money I get, the more creative I can become lol! Tis like the Andy Warhol “concept” – where the art I do is ALL COMMERCIAL. Mwuhaha. Aside from that .. my living situation has gotten a lot better which I’m happy about. With what I make atm, I can actually save/try to save now and drift away from my parents help gradually, which I’m proud of. Finally, I can pay my own rent with my own money, writing out my own paychecks.

Another new thing that I’d like to share is that I got a fish!!! as a living companion at the moment, since Georgie isn’t here. =( Let me show you Kingsley though.

Lol.. and no it is not sad to have a fish! It actually makes me happy and reduces my stress when I come home from a long day. I’ve actually been sick but my sore throat and coughs are slowly going away .. yayy. I think it’s due to intense overwork and lack of efficient sleeping hours. These days when I come home, I just want to have “me” time and watch a movie and chill out. Only on weekends do I have the urge to see people and interact with people socially. It’s quite interesting … like a drastic change from my life before. I’m not sure if its healthy or not at the moment, but I really can’t get myself to go out after work on a weekday. Although, the people who are worthy of seeing, I will try my best to see, even if its on a weekday. Relationship wise, it’s been a bit at a standstill and uncertain. lol hopefully it’ll get better as my life get more and more stable. I guess my life is pretty a-ok at the moment. Kind of a rough start, but it’s starting to smooth. That’s all for now.

I know what hat they’re talking about….. TRUCKER HATS!! lollll jk, but trust me, THEY WILL COME BACK! Be prepared with em Von Dutchers people. Makes me miss my trucker hats actually… Anyhow, I really like this chart, and it’s quite accurate. As mentioned in PSFK, this would be like the compass of companies such as Urban Outfitters lolll but then of course, a lot of hipsters these days would never want to claim out loud that they shop at UO.

But in retrospect, as much as I dislike hipsters, this is equivalent to the adoption curve and can be applied to any fashion trends….not just hipsters. … But I like blaming hipsters for a lot of things because I dislike them. haaa What’s even funnier here are the comments. I love when people argue online…even about a chart. haha

Oh Taylor.. as hot as you are or in my case… how people think you are..I just can’t get pass your nose. Oh and look at that fat girl in the picture behind him. lollll “OMG TAYLOR LAUTNER IS IN FRONT OF ME…GASP…*ORGASM*” But seriously, don’t tell me that’s a pretty nose? It looks so weird, short, and big. Maybe that’s why I’ve never thought he was hot or anything because all I saw was his nose in pictures. Eclipse premier?
