Third World Doesn’t look so Third World..

Photos courtesy of ilovesorbet.blogspot.com

I realize there’s been this ..well I wouldn’t say craze, but interest in seeing what everyday people do, and especially wear on the streets. There are endless fashion sites that would have a street category showing what people in that particular city wears on a daily basis … but chances are the photos are always taken at fashion capitals such as NYC, London, Paris, Italy, Japan…. Even though it makes sense that fashion photos cluster around those places, I still have always wondered so what about the rest of the world? lol Well recently I’ve stumbled upon some random blog that is very similar to the Satorialist-prolly someone with a same photo hobby. This person is most likely base in Vietnam, likes to travel and is into fashion. Out of all of this, man fashion does travel indeed! I haven’t been back to Vietnam for awhile now, and I really wish I can so then I can see the changes that’s happening in my motherland. These pictures are a bit of a shocker to me. Not to make fun of my birth country, but if anything, I didn’t think people cared much about fashion in Vietnam and had a stereotypical vision of what citizens of Vietnam would look like hehe. Granted I don’t know if these people are travelers, or not but I’ll give it the benefit of the doubt. Most of these pictures are taken in Hanoi. The photos show a diversity in my opinion, compared to the Satorialist these days…or maybe he just upped his photography skills making everyone look like they’re models. But anyways, obviously the fashion sense is not 100% there but it’s getting somewhere. Honestly, they look better dressed than a lot of normal Asians in the west that I’ve seen… or at least put in some sort of effort in making a fashion statement. It’s just very interesting in a country where a lot are in poverty, fashion is still there somehow.

My New Fav Comedian…

even though I’ve never really had one. Chris D’elia has such a foul mouth but is extremely funny imo. I laugh a lot in general, but when it comes to comedy stand ups, I usually don’t find the humor in most of them. This is why I think this guy is so funny…watch with me.

Lol. If that didn’t you make laugh not even a bit, then you have problems. I love his physical acts and I think it really adds onto the jokes. The deer pose was amazing. haha Sides the fact that he’s funny, he’s actually quite good looking as well, makes it all the better.

When I was young, I had a phase where I was obsessed with the Japanese culture and Anime! And one of my fav was Gundam. Gundam is pretty much all about robots “Mecha” named Gundams. Each had a “rider” and my favorite was this guy name Hero (in the middle). LOL and back then I thought he was sooo cuteee – indeed I thought an animation was cute. Anyways, I ran into a site, and saw that in Shiokaze Park on Odaiba Island in Tokyo, they had a building size display model of one of the Gundams. SO COOL!! I wish I can buy a plane ticket to Japan and see it live. It’s the RX-78 model btw. Sigh, these days it’s so hard to find something entertaining – I wish I fall into the Anime phase again. lol

WTF BRIAN JOO??

Have you lost originality?? Same title and same song as Jason Derulo?? WHAT IS THIS?! I’m a Brian Fan but sorry, Jason Derulo is better with this song. Seriously,  just cause your last single/album sucked and wasn’t a hit, covering someone’s song won’t really redeem it. Why do artists do this, it’s so stupid, make your own music damn it – I don’t care to listen to the same songs in diff. languages.
